**PRELIMINARIES**

**I am a retired
engineer. Thanks to an adapted software, I am able to display the
representation of mathematical curves and surfaces.**

**I enter the equation of
the curve or surface in explicit, parametric, polar, cylindrical
or spherical coordinates.**

**I choose parameters (
surface color, background color ...) and I obtain the curve or
surface on the screen.**

**I can move the curves
and surfaces in space, zoom, and change the lighting to improve
the visibility of the surfaces.**

**I am able to carry out
the intersection of a surface and a curve, or the intersections
of two or several surfaces in the same way.**
